After a request from a member of the community we've added outline variants for all 236 designs in our inventory icons graphics pack. This brings the total number of sprites in the pack up to a whopping 472! #gamedev

Also, the title font is King of Kings Lynn, which I adore, by indie font creators @chequered.ink. I want to use it for all text in my game but I'm not sure if it's a bit too wonky, so I plan on having an alternative, more normal, font.

Whipped up another quick tile set for our pixel platformer pack - this time with various building blocks for a toy-based level. I was a huge fan of the series of toy-themed levels in Super Mario Land 2 on GameBoy, if anyone played that you'll know exactly what I mean! #gamedev #pixelart

Tomorrow (hopefully) we'll be releasing a family of fonts that helps you make these nonsense words for textures in your games (like Splatoon, Animal Crossing, Pokemon) etc. There are two sizes of pixel font, a clean HD one and a cartoony HD one! #gamedev

Has anyone coined a term for the fake writing systems used in games so that textures don't have to be localised? Nintendo uses them a lot these days in Splatoon, ACNH, Pokémon etc. Does anyone know what they're called (if anything)?
