I think the thing about this I like most is that it could have been written decades ago - a passionate exposition of what British Liberal and Lib Dems are about that is consistent through the ages. Lib Dems need more of this sort of clarity and energy in our messaging.

20 years ago today at this time I and very many Lib Dems had already been out on the streets of Dunfermline, Rosyth, Inverkeithing and the West Fife villages delivering good morning leaflets for hours. We pulled off an historic win and sent @willierennie.bsky.social to Westminster.

We all love Vince, but he is so wrong about this.

Hamnet is a truly brilliant film. It deserves all the awards. But it puts your emotions through the wringer. We at LDV Towers have been full of love and admiration for both Mary and Ian as they dealt with his last illness. Mary writes so movingly about the excellent palliative care Ian had in the last few days of his life - and in a hospital setting too. Everyone should have such good care.

First proper miserable commute of the Winter. Pouring rain, cold, first train cancelled, next one 3 carriages rather than 6, now having to wait in freezing cold for a bus for too long. I feel like I was born to Winter in more temperate climes.

So many island communities have suffered because of the SNP’s failures.
