Yesterday was the @dumb-industries.com 2026 Dumb Drive, so I wanted to show the art piece that @joelawler.bsky.social and I collaborated on for Jackey’s art class! Joe had the amazing idea of combining Dr. Z from The Blood Waters of Dr. Z with the Dr. Z of @danagould.bsky.social and I doodled it!

It’s so great that so many of us got away from abusive, gaslighting, narcissistic parents to be trapped in a country led by the worst fucking one. So. Great.

I don’t think people quite understand that the occupation by ICE in the Twin Cities has more or less erased non-white people from public life. They cannot safely exist in any space accessible to the public and moving between private places leaves folks vulnerable to kidnapping by armed masked goons.

I saw a worrying, but valid video explaining that the groundswell is forming to clinch the midterms for fascism. ICE is already intimidating and vandalizing cities at a war level…and it’s January. They WILL be doing everything they can to intimidate voting minorities. Especially by November... (🧵)

Today was apparently the largest protest in IA history. Over 140 people were signed up to speak against taking away the rights of trans people. They cut the mics after 20 of our people, then rushed it through the senate and house, despite the opposition. Fuck. Iowa. THIS IS NOT DEMOCRACY.

My friends and I accompanied another friend of ours who felt ready to leave, then we saw this walking in. The East Village of Des Moines had an actual group of white supremacists marching the streets this past weekend and cops did nothing. This here? For stopping peaceful protestors. ACAB.
