in trying to understand what makes ICE and CBP so dangerous right now, it is tempting to imagine some new lack of training or experience or professionalismāand not grapple with the truth that a white nationalist movement has put more power and force behind their existing mission

A lot of the media has messed up in describing all of these folks who are observing as protesters, theyāre neighbors who quickly come out of their homes to document ICE presence knowing that their privilege is the only thing possibly standing in the way of a neighbor being disappeared or brutalized.

There is video circulating on social media of a group of ICE agents beating a man near 26th and Nicollet in south Minneapolis, then one of the ICE agents shoots the man while he's on the ground numerous times. A witness can be heard yelling that the victim is dead.

Live on MS NOW: A man being pinned down by multiple federal agents. He is shouting that he's a U.S. citizen and adds: "I have done nothing wrong." To the side: A woman sobs on the street. She says she's the man's wife. She says they were just running away from the tear gas when he was taken.

Yep. There are split duties here. Miller broadcasts undisguised bloodlust to the base, openly relishing the sadism and cruelty of ICE's paramilitary warfare against Americans on Fox News. Vance sells it to non-MAGA Republicans and independents by speaking piously about law enforcement under siege.
