I rarely do this, but it needs to be said: Asking your followers to recommend Black & POC & queer punk and metal bands (that you have no intention of actually listening to or learning about) is performative asf. While there are expections, most folks are just looking for engagement not new music.

Being on a panel with Joey Shithead Keithley and lending direct support to D.O.A. was indescribable. He's so kind and knowledgeable about all things punk and political. Courage is contagious. 💙 Texas Democrat, Rep Nicole Collier, has had enough of being bullied by Texas Republicans, drunk on power. They locked her in the Texas capitol unless she signs herself into custody of law enforcement. She refused, and she's still locked in.

My favorite part of this record is when everyone expecting it to be all ska gets hit in the face by a sludgy ass hardcore track 👀

Here is a video of us playing our song 'Dead Gang'. The song honors the sacrifices of African-American men who were forced at gunpoint by law enforcers to collect dead bodies post-hurricane in September 1900 (Galveston, TX). These men were known as the Dead Gang and deserve recognition.
