the key to game design is to imagine the target audience for your game and then imagine how you would make them the most upset

i only do the parts of game development that i enjoy. if there's something that i don't want to work on or feel bored by, i figure out how to change that part of the game so that i'm more excited to make it. i'm always prioritizing having a good time and i think it absolutely results in better games
