Desperately need a job where I work with very few people/people actually care whether they get others sick. Catering isn’t it. As it is, theater is a huge risk but it’s like the only thing keeping me going. Those I spend time around also don’t mitigate any risk unless I plead so. Having a time.

This might be a long shot but the Happy Hearts Sanctuary is in dire need of funds to save their horse rescue. They have 24hours to raise the money they need for food (theyve been trying for weeks) or they will have to euthanize their horses. Please share and contribute if you can.

Spent yesterday watching a fun new show that I really enjoy, Etoile, about ballet companies mixing things up. Watched a documentary w/ & about Toni Morrison after, then got about halfway through an Ingrid Bergman doc. No matter what else I do with my life, I always want to be surrounded by the arts.

Many symptoms but my ears itch so badly that I want to scrape their insides with a spoon.

I am once again the only person in my vicinity with Covid while also being the only one who tries to be the most careful. I get it at least once a year now. Great for my chronic issues that I already got from having it before and my persistent brain fog.

I realize that pub crawls are all the rage, but I truly feel as though there could be an immense market for library crawls, bakery crawls, museum crawls, bookstore crawls, and greenhouse crawls.

IT’S ONLY BEEN A YEAR. Time means nothing. Moo Deng is a newborn, she is old as the sun.

I just realized that everyone calls it Great British Bake Off (GBBO) instead of what it actually says on screen which is Great British Baking show 🙃 cool cool cool cool.

Update of my understanding on TGBBS: they do get to practice some stuff at home and bring some of their own ingredients. It’s the technical they can’t do that for. I love all of the bakers but I think Nelly is my favorite.

One reason I would be horrible with TGBBS is that I have to follow a recipe to a T. Unless it asks for chocolate chips, then I add more than it says. A rather great segue into the other reason I’d lose, which is making everything chocolate.

So I’ve just now gotten into Great British Baking Show (I know, I know) and I didn’t realize half the time they don’t have a recipe?!?!?! They have the ingredients but during the technicals it looks like they’re just winging it. I started with the most recent season. New binging show for me!

Had PT today with my 4th person (I always come on different days) and was having some med issues. SSRI withdrawal due to an apparently absent psych not answering messages. I’ve had anxiety, et al. for decades and this guy was the most calming person I’ve had help me in yrs.

My bf went to culinary school which is great because I hate cooking. But it’s not great because then I say things like “co-lander” instead of colander and he has to fish for what I’m trying to say. At least we know I’ve read the word before.

This is very unserious, but I do not understand the utter hatred of people who enjoy horoscopes. I understand hating the people who scam others out of money or take advantage of the vulnerable via astro stuff but like… it’s fun and silly. And again, very unserious.

Stubbed my toe so bad earlier that I got nauseous and had to slow breathe and my dog got concerned. She is never that concerned. Then before my shower I went to grab something, stood up, and slammed the back of my head into the top of my little bookcase. So. I’m good on today, friends.

Absolutely loved our bit of snow today, as did my pup. We’ve never had this much before! It was lovely, I’m gonna miss it.

I purchased and returned multiple box dyes for my hair but finally dove in tonight. You’ll know, not by my new, gray-less hair but by the massive amount of skin stains I’m currently rocking. Bathroom door was also a victim. Very dalmation-esque.

I must say, tsa taking your picture at the airport even when you have a picture on your ID is my new favorite thing. Love having to take down my mask for an extended time and asked to smile by a dude (he was nice, I am grumpy). Thumbs up, no notes. *both thumbs down, I have several notes*

I saved the cookie for a full day. Triple chocolate didn’t mean triple the amount of chocolate. It meant three kinds, which might be fine if I didn’t hate white chocolate. I feel betrayed.

Tying a ribbon in your hair for bows is so cute and I wanted to start doing it, and then two different people who do that became people I have mega beef with so now that idea is out. I know it sounds silly but I ran my thought process by a group of other women and they agreed so I feel better lol

Found Kevin From Work on Hulu yesterday and blew through all 10 episodes. It was just as good a show as I remember and the whole cast was great. I’m still mad they didn’t renew it for a second season.

Had a moment this evening where I was passing by this dude who said, “smile, it’s not that serious.” Bro. It is midnight and I’m about to unload a truck and someone in the sex club you’re chillin’ at is blocking our warehouse entrance. Mind yours and I’ll mind mine. If he hadn’t been twice my size.

Every time my 60lb dog jumps on my chest while I’m lying down, I remember that episode of Scrubs where rough-housing with his kid caused this dude to almost die. I have other legit reasons for health worry but this should not be one. Dog tax!

Finally downloaded all my info from the other place and my laptop’s security won’t let me open any of the files. Helpfully chirping, “I saved you!” and I just wanna go through my old stuff. Why is this so hard?!?!

I followed too many shit-posters at once and now I’m not seeing the original people/pertinent info/culture accounts I follow. Whoops

The amount of grown ass adults who are still open mouth coughing into the ether is astounding to me. Or they cough into their hands and I work in FOOD. SERVICE. It is A Lot. People seem to be regressing. 😩
