I started reading MIRABILE by Janet Kagan. It's a fixup novel of stories from the 80s. Neat conceit: biologist on a colony world investigates mutations due to damage to the frozen embryos and seeds during transit. Not quite cozy, but giving ST: TNG vibes. Fun and entertaining.
