Trump canβt stand to be humiliated. This is what's driving his dictatorial moves. But he will overreach. He already has. And this overreach will ultimately be his undoing. As long as we keep our heads β and engage in peaceful civil disobedience. Be strong. Be safe.

This is the second video of ICE agents shattering a window in the last week rather than have some patience. And in this case, they're allegedly detaining someone who already has asylum through his wife, with no reason given at all!

I want to tell you why the case of Kilmar Abrego Garcia should matter to you. The one power you cannot give the executive is the ability to imprison or expel anyone regardless of their legal rights. That is our key check against autocracy. And we are watching it disappear.

CNBC's Steve Liesman doesn't mince words about the way the White House calculated its tariff rates: "Nobody ever heard of this formula. Nobody has ever used this formula. So Iβm sorry, but the conclusion seems to be the president kind of made this up as he went along... these are off the charts."

As you read about Ford's tariffs on electricity, understand that Ontario offers excess electricity to the US, sometimes for nothing, i.e. at negative prices. Sometimes we pay other parties to take it. A 25% tariff on nothing is nothing. No states have a firm contract with Ontario for electricity.

The largest purchaser of wine is the Liquor Control Board of Ontario. The shelves of Kentucky whiskey, American beer and California wine are now empty. The LCOBO was doing a brisk business - good news for Canadian, French, Spanish, Australian, Chilean. Sucks for Kentucky and California.
