Russians are apparently putting out information and videos showing Ukraine is hitting structures with drones. The trouble is that these videos are shown to be from earlier dates and different places. We can’t believe much of what we see online when it comes to Russia.

Ich war hier aus Gesundheitsgründen länger weg. Was ich sagen kann: Kyjiw erlebt tatsächlich den härtesten Winter der jüngsten Geschichte. Die Dauer der Stromausfälle ist krass. Mit der Heizung gibt es massive Probleme. Aber die Menschen halten irgendwie trotzdem durch.

Manfred Weber, the leader of the EPP, says the approval of the EU-US trade deal should be "put on hold" in response to Trump's 10% tariff threat. Until today, the EPP, the largest group in the European Parliament, wanted to move forward with ratification despite the Greenland tensions.

How about appointing a special negotiator to deal with Trump? The BS coming out of the WH distracts way too much from important problems.

Spent the last few days in Ukraine where the security forces are heavily armed, but polite and under control. I never had the slightest worry that they would shoot an unarmed person at close distance and celebrate it.
