This is despicable. Shame on you Netanyahu. Orban is a Putin puppet & an authoritarian thug. Orban is an enemy of freedom. Like Trump & Orban, you are siding with Putin, a fascist, over the free world. You further isolate Israel, you give Israel a bad name, and you increase hatred of Israel. Resign.

Never in my life have I believed Iran state media over our own government. Until now. That’s not being “unpatriotic,” it’s having a brain that functions.

Trump openly lies about the bombed girls school. As Americans we make mistakes in war but they are unintentional and we own them. Trump blaming Iran is no different than what Putin does when he blames Ukraine for attacks Russia clearly does. We’ve become accepting of pure lies

Trump has fully shattered the world we all grew up in. It’s a dramatic break from how things worked before, even compared to the Iraq War and other misadventures - the United States abruptly tumbling over a cliff and becoming literally more reckless and domineering than Putin’s Russia.

there's a thing I like to call "load-bearing assumptions", that you don't notice until they're suddenly gone (e.g the air you breath has oxygen in it). the post-ww2 order is a load-bearing assumption for basically the entirety of american life. trump took a sledgehammer to it in the last 90 days.

The US govt mixing video of real violence in a war it started with a video game scene feels like crossing a(nother) line. I’m not sure what to say. I don’t think war is a game. And even when I think military action is necessary, there are real human beings on the other end, not pixels that respawn.

Millions of Republicans now see Canada and the EU as enemies. The rapid recent rise in negative sentiment recalls the big rise in Republicans’ opinion of Vladimir Putin in 2016. No consistency, no principle, no sense of national interest. Deeply cultish, ready to abandon anything on leader’s whim.
