Slowly dying of Long Covid, a direct result of my covid infection in March 2020 before vaccines were available. It has been an excruciating few years that will end in early death or homelessness. Covid is still circulating, still disabling & more often than we like to admit, still ending lives.

This times a million! I have seen people call losing your sense of taste and smell as “a common effect of menopause” without any mention of covid at all.

Too many folks talking about “why no one told them how debilitating peri/menopause is” are actually experiencing Long Covid. The reason your predecessors didn’t have to give up work (in or outside the home) is because they weren’t suffering from a disabling viral infection.

Covid is still rampant. It can lead to myriad illnesses & disabilities including ME, POTS, MCAS etc. There is cardiac & neurological damage. There is no cure. There is a simple preventative measure that should be recommended & freely available to the public. K/N95s save lives.
