So it occurred to me that I have just the thing I need to get this off the ground. @exeunt.press's very excellent Adventure! zine. Gonna go through this bad boy and write it up. Now deciding if I want to do it analog in a notebook or just in gdocs with everything else 🤔

I GENERALLY try to be positive and talk about the things I like as opposed to the things I don’t. But sometimes it’s fun to be a hater and I’ll indulge my baser nature! My sincere belief is that people should play games that they like with people they like.

I only have three days left in my current department and I'm so sad to be leaving 😭. I mean, yes, I'm leaving voluntarily for a promotion, but it is the most bittersweet thing I've ever done. Like I REALLY get 'bittersweet' now. Ah fuck it, it's late let's sadpost motherfuckers.

There's a lot of reasons why I don't like myself, but the one at the top these days is that I basically can't do anything productive without my prescription speed. I never hear, "Oh you're just playing it wrong!" more than in reference to Pbta games. If the rules are that hard to get right then maybe it's the rules' problem. Also I think 'moves' as a concept suck the fucking stars from the sky, I hate them so much.

Something you may or may not know about me is that I’m low key obsessed/fascinated with electric eels. Super wild critters that are basically Pokémon! I want to make a ttrpg adventure that uses them but haven’t figured out what I want to do with it yet. But seriously read up about electric eels!!

I love this! I think of it when I’m playing a DnD, and someone wants to be like, “Um the potato wasn’t introduced into Europe until…” or “By the time rapiers were introduced plate mail wasn’t…” blah blah blah I don’t fucking care. I’m playing a dumb game with my friends to have fun.

FIST once again undefeated! We fucked around and the PCs took 3 traits instead of two and went up against Dr Buzzkill and his army of cyber-sauruses. Deeply stupid (complimentary) and lots of fun.

I'm running FIST tomorrow morning (a mere 7 hours from now, in fact) and I'm pumped! It might be my stupidest adventure yet.
