There are just under 175,200 games in the BGG database and I’m associated with 55 of those (0.0003%), yet two of those games are ranked alongside each other. Quick - someone tell me the odds of that? (Paging Geoff Engelstein!)

Are there any other game design duos out there who constantly flip-flop with word spellings in your working docs? When I look at the notes from the games I make with @trevormbenjamin.bsky.social, I see that we switch between Defence/Defense about 6,000 times.

Whew. Putting the finishing touches on a major co-design I worked on in 2025 with @trevormbenjamin.bsky.social. It had three major revisions, and a total of 55 iterations (26 for Rev 1, 5 for Rev 2, and 14 for Rev 3). It has been a ton of work, but I'm very proud of it and hopeful for its future.
