Lets take a closer look at another historical moment from the game. The Battle of Midtskogen was fought during the night of 9–10 April 1940. The invading Germans wanted to capture Haakon VII and his cabinet in an attempt to force Norway into surrender.

Halls of Hegra. Lately I have been on this solo only board game kick. This one often gets compared to Robinson Crusoe but I think it plays quite a bit differently. It's a lot more forgiving in the beginning and you are actually trying to prepare for the end. #hallsofhegra #boardgame #tabletopgame

Game #17: Halls of Hegra This is one of two solo only games on my list but one of many on the list I primarily play solo. The challenge this game presents is phenomenal and I don't think I've had the same experience twice. I wish it was played more but this is a last minute backing I don't regret

Finally found some time to play some games tonight after a long week and gave Halls of Hegra a play for the first time in a while. Continuously amazed by this game and a reason it’s one of my favorite only only plays. So difficult to win but a fun challenge for sure
