Today I want to share that Ryan Dancey and AEG have parted ways. This is not an easy post to write. Ryan has been a significant part of AEG’s story, and I am personally grateful for the years of work, passion, and intensity he brought to the company. We have built a lot together.

There’s been conversation today about AI and game design. I want to be clear where I stand. For 30+ years, AEG has worked with human designers to bring games to life. That creative partnership, the collaboration, the shared spark, is what makes tabletop special. That is not changing.

Games and travel what a wonderful pairing.

I think we posted about how much we love the Sagrada Daily Challenge on Facebook when it started. Always exited for new fast ways to enjoy games we love.

Love this game. Would love to see us get it into a smaller more compact box in the future.

This card is one of the reasons we love Space Base so much. It is so powerful yet so hard to get the Rewards Bon to go off. Never heard it called that @teangames.bsky.social Keep trying it feels so good when it happens because it almost never does.

We love this thread but we needed to look up the The Zettelkasten method. It is is a way to think, learn, and create ideas over time, not just take notes. It literally means “slip box” in German, but in practice it’s a system for building a network of ideas that talk to each other. Love It.

One of our favorites. We prefer live plays but the BGA version is very smooth. It’s up for a BGA award this year.
