Today’s General Strike in Minnesota was so beautiful. The care that humans have towards one another in this time of unprecedented state cruelty gives me tremendous hope. As a society, we know how to draw lines in the sand. Don’t disappear our friends, family, and neighbors.

Gestapo-ICE detained a 2 year old girl and sent her on a plane to Texas despite a judge ordering for the baby to be released. They also detained a 10 year old and a 5 year old and used the 5 year old as bait. It’s inhumane, evil and of course it’s child trafficking.

Much of the media is treating the vice president’s visit as an attempt to lower the temperature—if anything, he raised it. Vance simply doesn’t think it’s a misnomer to call the boy's father an “illegal alien,” despite their asylum pending claim (meaning they did enter legally).

This is such an important point. That 5-year-old and his dad should never been detained in the first place! That's because they were already in the system and going through the legal process to seek asylum — and their arrest was seemingly just to juice ICE's numbers.

I suspect confusion is the point. Some people may know to ask “Do you have a warrant?” but it is a lot to ask for an average person to know the difference between an administrative and judicial warrant. It’s deceptive and coercive.
