Remember when Trump threatened to wipe out a whole civilization? And then backed out of that and talked about forming a deal with Iran? And then dropped that and went to a UFC fight as negotiations fell apart? And then unveiled a triumphal arch and a photo of himself as Jesus? That was this week.

I was able to wire up Popcorn to run Elixir and PGlite to run Postgres, both in the browser. This means we can have an interactive and safe sandbox for arbitrary code. Which means a really good experience learning Ecto on a website. I'll publish it soon :)

That DuckDB extension I was working on landed in community extensions today! I'm pretty excited about it -- prefiltered ACORN-1 HNSW approx nearest neighbours in

. Even pgvector does postfiltering, for example. INSTALL hnsw_acorn FROM community; LOAD hnsw_acorn;

Polars has become a bit of an albatross. It's a very complex project with a ton of churn and it's putting the whole Explorer project at risk. So exploring alternative backends.
