I love drawing Ed and Stede kissing and staring at each other lovingly and being in love, but I also love the rare and delicious treat of when someone asks me to draw something absolutely batshit and strange. That day is today.

Honestly, the best way to make an artist’s day is by being very specific about what you like about a piece. Geek out a lil. Gush over how they use line, color, texture. Every mark is layed down by the artist, so if you can connect with those little moments, it helps the artist feel seen.

My first attempt at fanart as I try to get into embroidery - I sketched Ed on fabric and then stitched away. 1/2

Okay it took a whole month but my house is finally settled enough to be able to start drawing again! First up, finishing my piece for the 2026 Gentlebeard Calendar (pre-orders in a few weeks!) Then maybe a little Ed in Rumi's outfit? Then a lovely commission that I'm really looking forward to.
