Just finished Small Bomb at Dimperley by @lissakevans.bsky.social Loved it. Felt that whilst I was being entertained I was being educated about the social history of the country at the end of WW2. Stand out for me was the subtle way a character's disability was handled, all too rare a thing IMHO.

I am looking forward to the next Philip Pullman, but the real biggie has got to be the latest Detective Beans! Also the new Pierre the Maze Detective. I also highly recommend watching out for Ross MacKenzie’s The Uninvited and, if you’re not a total scaredy cat like me, Simon Lamb’s Mat O’ Shanter.
