The FSU's amendments would transform #InternetNZ from embodying Te Tiriti partnership, & centring Māori to treating cultural inclusion as optional - rejecting its constitutional framework since 2018, & enduringly undermining its ability to serve all communities in NZ. The FSU poses a serious threat.

There are a dozen amendments proposed by the FSU. I studied them in order to understand FSU's designs on InternetNZ through institutional capture, & hollowing it out. Each amendment is, in my reading, worse than the one before it.

The InternetNZ AGM falls on Thursday. It's a very consequential one. To secure institution's ability to serve all New Zealanders, members must vote down proposed changes to InternetNZ's constitution by the Free Speech Union (FSU) - published on their website. If passed, InternetNZ won't be the same.
