I missed this post when it came out earlier this week, but as always you should give Light Poetry Magazines "Poems of the Week" a read. The poems are always a clever and lighthearted look at the news. A far preferable way to interact with current events than my usual staring numbly into the void.

ON THE TRUMPOLINE by Paul Burgess He told them, “Jumping on the Trumpoline will line your pockets full of folding green,” but while he bounces up and down with glee the only change in cost my eyes can see is soaring rates on fueling stations’ pumps increasing every time His Highness jumps.
