One of the things that has pretty annoying is that if you have any kind of bullshit meter, if you have anything inside of yourself that doesn’t enjoy being lied to, the last couple of years of almost every area of public life have been driving you up a fucking wall

not that you have to treat this as being real or valid because it's typical batshit insane racist shit but the bike boys in DC, ATL, Baltimore, etc, are lovely people if you talked to them, for real, we looked into doing a doc on them and they were absolutely delightful people

A teenage 4channer was beat up by two 15 year olds in DC, which was spotted and quickly stopped by nearby police. He told his friends, the richest man in the world and the Vice President of the United States, that he was pummeled by a dozen adult Romanians. A week later, Trump federalized DC police.

I think a lot of the analytics that came with the internet have been a giant net loss for society.

Rewarding aggressors for attacking sovereign nations by giving them land and claiming they "earned" it through invading and killing its inhabitants is depraved and only encourages more wars. This is shameful coming from the nation that calls itself the "Leader of the Free World."

Writing my dad’s obit and eulogy was the most difficult writing I’ve ever had to do. He deserved the effort.

I think the use of chatbots for stuff like this is intended to train people to use it to avoid everything that’s painful or hard. It can write the obituary, the breakup text, the complaint letter. It’s meant to separate humans from their difficult feelings. Seems bad.
