The theme of this year has been survival through love. I left social media for a long time this year, and what I was doing during that time was rethinking my priorities, the kind of life i wanted, the people i wanted to be in it. and in doing so i fell in love with my partners all over again.

and mostly what i want to talk about is love. It's why i survived, really. Both in an immediate and practical way: my partners held me and carried me through the darkest parts of the year, made sure i didn't drown. And in the touchy-feely way of giving me a reason to believe I shouldn't drown.
