People really spent New Year’s at the movies, watching television. The theatrical release of the ‘Stranger Things’ finale made between $25 and $30 million dollars at the box office.

I scored quite high on the SAT and I was a terrible student. Like…bad. I had a lot of potential and not enough skill. I was a B student at an under-performing underserved high school, and had never taken a test prep class in my life. That score opened doors for me, but meant nothing about me.

In 2026 I want all of the decent people to remember one thing. You aren’t meant to be this disciplined, this self-sacrificing to survive. The environment is supposed to support good living. We can have that. You are not a failure. That is politics. That is all.
