I miss writing personal emails. I used to have penpals where we would write long emails, take actual time to think about what the other person said, then take a couple days to write a well thought-out reply. Like letters out of a Ken Burns documentary. Now people just hate email though 🤷‍♀️

I enjoy Umamusume, but this Champions Meeting schedule is killing me. I've kind of stopped focusing on it. I spend all my game time prepping for CM, meanwhile I've got multiple characters I've not even completed a single playthrough yet. The grind is keeping me from the stuff I prefer, like story.

Linux update: I'm still happy with Debian. I think it's everything I want from an OS right now. Might even help my mom make the transition to Linux. Took a few minutes to customize my desktop and I think it looks really nice. Especially at night when I got my lights turned blue.

The timing for the new Steam machine is pretty good. The gaming experience on Linux is pretty much caught up to Windows at this point. Valve and the community have put a lot of work into the Deck and Proton, and as a result I think it's now a valid option for some gamers. Fun times for computing!
