it took Ginger Snap a good 20 minutes to decide to leave her coconut hideout (which I to and from her temporary cage while i'm doing the clean out). she is now back inside her 3-room hideout rearranging the bedding and finding little bits of dry food i have left in her food storage area.

a bigger habitat for Ginger Snap means daily latrine area spot cleanings and a full cage clean-out every 3 weeks. today was full clean-out day, all new bedding, a complete rearrangement for enrichment, and her favorite banana chip treat a as reward for not biting me for the havoc i have done 😹
