Recently me and a student give this a go on a recent dataset of a 60 kDa domain that had orientation bias with streaky 2ndary structure. Nothing improved until we tried the more intensive ab-initio settings which gave us one nice class. Oddly global refinement brings back the orientation bias 1/n
