A US A-10 “Warthog”was struck by Iranian fire and crashed while supporting the F-15E rescue mission. The lone pilot ejected to safety over friendly territory. The aircraft made it to Kuwaiti airspace before going down,the A-10 is confirmed down in Kuwait. At least 2 US Blackhawks were also struck.
