This is a good thread. Age verification laws are bad because they require you to link your real identity to whatever you say and do online. Given our current government's efforts to restrict and punish speech, do we want this? Do we want even more corporate surveillance for, e.g., targeted pricing?

Surely some day we'll stop treating the existence or size of a deficit as the primary criteria for judging the federal budget. Right?
