Of all my builds for Clue's 40th anniversary, Mrs. Peacock was the most intimidating given the complexity of her dress & accessories. This is SOOOO beautiful!! 🤩 It's always interesting to see very organic things (like moss and mounded-up dirt) rendered in LEGO. I think it was done super effectively here - the whole little scene carries a lot of emotion.

Saw a great blue heron chilling in the creek earlier today, looking grumpy and standing very statue-like. Reminded me that I've been wanting to rewatch The Boy and The Heron.

17 Duelist. While I normally try to keep to using only what I consider reasonably cheap and accessible parts, I made an exception for this hat. The build would work just fine with another hat, or an entirely different head, but this one just suited it so nicely. #LEGO #Mechatober2025 #Mechatober

12 Bio. This non-combat mecha draws inspiration from Shadow of the Colossus, Studio Ghibli's Laputa, and Pokémon's Torterra. I'm not sure what scale it is, but it roams around peacefully, tending to plants both on its back and along its path. #LEGO #Mechatober2025 #Mechatober

Like the Khuraltans, Zero Point employs a corvette-sized assault transport for boarding actions. A point defense turret provides firepower on the approach, and its elite complement of genetically- and cybernetically-enhanced marines is capable of disrupting or even capturing larger ships. #LEGO

Was stunned by the beautiful sky this morning when I went to the gym. Looking into it, it seems this was a conjunction with the moon, Venus, and the star Regulus. Lucky it was clear as well! 🤩

Day 19: Missiles. Wasn't happy with this, but I started removing parts from the middle and it became a good exercise in using negative space. Then I made an animation. Technically the front section can spin like a revolver but that seemed too silly. #LEGO #Shiptember #Spaceshiptember2025 #SST25

My first time playing Alloy Hearts, I rolled up a (very cool) cheerful space pirate with a sporty black & cyan mecha with swarming drones. I named her Concertina. Sadly, she became my enemy... and then she was killed. 😭 I decided my character would take one of her small drones and keep it always~

Here's another combat group, this time for the Khuraltans. Both this and the EDSC group are ~$40-45. Here the IFV carries three bases of infantry, and the ICV carries another four. I don't know if that'd balance out well against the EDSC, but it'll be a while before I'm ready to playtest them. #LEGO
