Patas monkeys are primarily ground-dwelling primates and they can move FAST from 0 to 33 mph in seconds—an amazing adaptation to keep safe from predators!

Hey Fezzik, let's hang! An adorable Hoffmann’s two-toed sloth has joined us 💚. You can find this thick-haired mammal chilling out in the zoo’s Tropical Rain Forest aviary along with dozens of exotic birds who also call the aviary home.

A wandering guest is caught between spending all their time in Living Northwest Trail or venturing towards Tropical Rainforest and beyond—as they deal with wonder, empathy and true love—they just might discover there is no wrong turn.

Our juvenile Chilean flamingos are part of our Ambassador Animal team—enjoying opportunistic walks around the zoo to the delight of guests, volunteers + staff! When they aren’t practicing their parade, these five gems live in the flamingo habitat with the rest of our flock. #goodstuff
