For the first time after 12 years biking in NYC, I was hit by a driver. Some off-duty cop with a placard on the dash and obscured license plate who made an illegal left from the center lane on a red arrow. Fortunately I was able to walk away just a bit banged up, but still an infuriating experience.

Hi @mta.info this is your bus drivers illegally parking on 55th St. blocking the bike lane. This is a long-standing issue. If you need layover parking work with DOT to allocate it. Parking and violation of the rules is against the law.
