This week's book, & although no #sundaysentence from it, I got one from Salman Rushdie on the TalkEasy podcast. He said, "When writing, you have to go for the blood," meaning not shy away from your own pain. Didion's notes here feel like her edging up toward the unburdening of YearOfMagicalThinking.
