I want to live in a country where: - the president isn‘t a fascist - the political media don’t collaborate with fascism - political violence and mass shootings aren’t a regular occurrence - there is a democratic method to depose the head of state if they’re a corrupt, demented pedo

🤨VAR Michael Salisbury who failed to award a penalty for a handball in today’s defeat against West Ham was also the VAR that failed to give Everton a penalty for a foul on Thierno Barry in the defeat against Arsenal in December

Up to us as Evertonians now to rally around Dwight McNeil and make sure he feels welcome and that he still belongs. Put aside whatever our individual views are on him as a player and simply be the decent people I believe most of us are. Palace showed no class and no respect. We will.

Dwight McNeil's partner, Megan Sharpley posts at length on how football can be pretty brutal at times. She suggests Crystal Palace dropped all contact after the agreement was in place A stark reminder young men are commodities in a game where human emotions are frequently ignored

"Moral injury" is exactly what I'm feeling. There is so much suffering in the world—needless suffering, cascading every day—and the people in power in this country are not only causing it; they're *delighting* in it. I am living my life, and I'm grateful for so much, but it weighs on me.

Moyes got it wrong yesterday and I think his post match comments showed he realised this . He thought Michael Keane was an actual footballer. Can't wait for our summer clear out.

Lads, the penalty. It's gone. Let's move on before we start doing petitions and books of condolences for injured players like the other lot. On to Brentford.

Just as quickly as it seemed NU would pull away with the victory, an unlikely Badger willed his team back. With 13:53 remaining, Wildcats forward Nick Martinelli connected on a jumper to put his team up 46-38. Then, madness ensued.

Dyche opted to take Magala off at HT. Mangala had completed (20/21) passes accuracy 95% and contributed towards defensive numbers. In Dyches wisdom, he took off Doucoure, who had just over 55% pass accuracy and attempted less than half the passes, also losing possession 5 times. A baffling decision.

Really feel for Jordan Pickford, who absolutely does not deserve the results we're getting - he's been brilliant all season but has to watch it all come apart every game, because we just don't seem to actually try to score goals and whatnot.

A good result. 0-0 against two of the top teams in the league. Today let's celebrate being Evertonians. But soon, we will replace Dyche and raise expectations. We are Everton, a team with a history of excellence.

I don't like Dyche, he has a negative mindset and rarely takes advantage of other teams short comings BUT, he has set the team up superbly in the last 2 games and got 2 points that we would have all taken Credit to him, and the players workrate was excellent

My heart is telling me 2-1 Everton Sunday, my heads telling me 2-2 and the reality is probably closer to 1-2 Chelsea, but I'm going to ignore that for now. Pre game over Christmas always has a great feeling on County Road, add that to the takeover and the fact the conditions probably suit us.
