Joelinton had a poor start to the season, but the last couple of games and tonight in particular, he was immense and back at his best. Letās hope this form continues.

We in UK do not have an independent nuclear deterrent. Our nuclear weapons will be used or not used at the direction of the USA. Those weapons are the forward arm of U.S. defence. They do not defend us - in fact they make us the bullseye. And we pay for them.

A lot of these political editors see Starmer/Trump and Mamdani/Trump as unexpected bromances, rather than what the rest of us see, which is someone trying to gamely manage a lunatic.

For non-German speakers: āDear media, I canāt stand the headline "No agreement between the US and Denmarkā any longer. If an armed man storms a bank, you don't run the headline: "Robber and cashier can't reach an agreement on money transfer." Stop framing imperial aggression as normal diplomacy.ā

This is a generous review of a very silly play. The film is about McCarthyism and social coercion, written by someone whose allies fled when the authorities turned on him. To stage that story and play down its political elements is horribly misjudged.

Britain has talked itself into a flat tailspin. Had weeks of ppl telling me that the country's on the verge of catastrophe. In reality real wages are rising and the economy growing. God alone knows what ppl would say if we went back to the early 80s, 17% interest rates and four million unemployed.

There is, to my mind, no justification for the continued use by the UK Government of X as a platform for official comms. There hasn't been for some time, in fact, but if the latest developments around AI-generated image abuse and CSAM don't change the policy I really don't know what will.
