Newcastle United bought a whole bunch of (famous, listed) buildings right next to our stadium in the middle of public discourse about a new stadium, and not one of the local journos scooped the story?

Well, 98% of British business wants it, a constant majority of polling of the general public wants it and it's very obvious that the Brexit sold has turned out to be a cancerous fuckshow. But our establishment is so in the thrall of Farage etc, nothing will change

Its quite "funny" when billionaires like Sam look at new tech like AI and extrapolate it's development into the future to the point where they're making the most money from it and then stop there.. as if that is the limit and it wont go any further

I know there’s a lot going on with the Labour Party, but it is all in the bounds of democratic politics. This however, paid collusion between the leaders of two political parties in the run up to election, if true, is a scandal of staggering propositions

1. It couldnt be more obvious that Harborne paid £5M for Farage to become an MP, and potentially PM, to promote his cryptocurrency interests. 2. This does not show that Farage is “just as bad as the others”. He is far, far worse. No other party leader is owned like this. None is this corrupt.

Strongly disagree with Nelson on his claim that Farage offers “*genuine* hope to people who feel betrayed by the established parties” As with Brexit, it’s hope built on lies and prejudice, funded by corrupt power-brokers who offer nothing but cost and loss to ordinary people. The ultimate betrayal.

Something shocking and out of the ordinary is happening in the UK. While in most comparable countries, healthy life expectancy is rising, here it is plunging steeply. Q. So what marks us out? A. 47 years of extreme neoliberalism, culminating in austerity.
