International Communication Association This pre-conference will provide the opportunity for a focused discussion of the relevance of the concept of trust to contemporary communication debates, particularly as they pertain to digital societies and emergent communication technologies. We welcome contributions that engage with questions of trust arising within particular media genres and formats in news and entertainment, communication professions such as journalism and public relations, institutions and technologies such as digital platforms, and emergent debates around the development and uptake of artificial intelligence.
