We are immensely saddened to hear of the passing of Paul Ayris of @ucl.ac.uk and LERU. He was a kind, smart and dedicated voice for Open Access publishing and an accomplished scholar in theology. Several of us got to share conference panels with him over the years. We will miss him greatly.
