Let's run an experiment: 1) Review the following citations badge. Is this number good or bad? Would you be pleased if your article got cited this much? What do these indicators fundamentally tell you about reach, reception, potentially about quality etc?

"The best we have" does not mean the best possible. Combining citation data with sentiment analysis would be a real advance, as it could address the "Can't tell praise from criticism" in citation counts. @altmetric.com has led the way here: www.altmetric.com/solutions/al...
