OCHA provides critical support in conflict & disaster zones. In warzones, it coordinates info that helps streamline NGO response & deconfliction (so aid orgs didn't get targeted as hostile). The network through which search & rescue teams deploy internationally to earthquakes & floods is under OCHA.
