The blueprint for winning big on climate also came out last night. No more technocratic, policy wonk approaches. People showed they care about utility bills, free buses, affordable housing, etc. These are all climate issues. Talk about climate in terms people understand and experience.

You could hear just how done AOC and Mamdani are with the party factions that have done nothing to stop fascism and everything to usher it in. Because of the outsourcing of the party to nonprofits it's widespread there too. But time's up.

Hard to overstate what it means for a socialist mayor elect of the wealthiest city in the US to have been paying attention to the issues of energy affordability and wretched failures to regulate the utility corporations for years. The new age is not gonna be limited to only rent, buses & childcare.
