For years, public health bent under pressure to downplay masks. When the same institutions now say “mask up,” it’s not a flip-flop—it’s a warning. If they’re willing to recommend masks again, the airborne threat is serious.

I’d just like to remind everyone that the alternative to being vaccinated against a disease is not a heavenly state of disease-free utopia. You enter the “susceptible” pool, and face a world full of diseases that are more likely to find you as that pool gets larger… unprepared…

I hope men understand that it is very very rare for anyone who is not a woman’s lover, close friend, or relative to stand up for her when another man insults her in a room of other men. It is incredibly unusual. They may not join in the bullying, but they’re unwilling to step in to stop it.

This is also how COVID got loose. We knew N95s were needed 👉before👈 day one (the 2006 recommendations of the SARS Commission say so directly). The 3-foot rule was known to be wrong nearly a century ago. But medicine's dinosaur management class had to show us they're in charge, not scientists. 🙄

I have been in the ER full of sick people for hours with my N95, and not caught anything. My family member with shit lungs on two immunosuppressants? Has been in an airport, an ER, a house with someone with an active COVID infection. And not caught those infections due to their N95.

Canada has just lost measles elimination status. The U.S. will undoubtedly follow shortly. Elimination means that there is no continuous spreading of measles within the country for a year or longer. Canada and the U.S. have blown it, and it’s largely the fault of the anti-vaccination movement.
