remember when they insisted that kids' capabilities would be harmed if everybody wore masks, and handwrung about "learning loss" and forced them back to school, but we just let COVID rip to permanently damage their cognitive capabilities, and then unleashed AI/LLMs in schools to finish the job?

Lord save us from the people who think that these systems aren’t functioning in line with how they were designed & built, and that the downsides are temporary & un-doable when it comes to LLMs and generative AI being shoved into every field, job, and endeavor (including public education).

I keep telling people we are THISCLOSE to just creating a completely illiterate generation of college educated young adults and this is my new Exhibit A
