Kev released one of my snarkiest artefacts - a *did he?/didn't he?* no-input field recording of a cave painting of the crucifixion that's only accessible on foot via tidal causeway. During the painting's history it's been painted over, vandalised & restored. Climate change may erase it altogether.

I would say that: my teenage years were spent trying to figure stuff out and pay attention to things. And skate. My 20s disavowed that approach (whilst paying careful attention, still,) and went for ""experience"". My 30s tried to redress the balance, somewhat, and encumbered me to 'get a job'.

Institutions: please stop setting up presses as a 'silver bullet'. A press needs care and to be caring. To be hospitable. If you're instituting a press to respond to supposed issues around policies, remember things change. Also, consult your author base. They may not want to publish with you.
