I’ve long thought Trump is good at picking fights that benefit him politically but the fact he’s fighting right now to starve Americans is making me reassess

I'd like a budget that satisfies Canadians, not one that satisfies Donald Trump.

As the dust settles on Carney’s first budget, it’s become increasingly clear which Canadians he thinks need to make “sacrifices.” Hint: it’s not the ultra-wealthy. In fact, it’s clear why someone who still considers himself a conservative feels at home in this Liberal government:

Carney is a conservative with no other motive than enabling more and more corporate profit. This is, in fact, what he was elected on. Nothing else matters to him. Of course he's going to let in people with horrible politics.

Carney allowed an anti-choice conservative into the Liberal Party in effort to consolidate a majority and ram through his austerity. There is just no bottom floor with Carney, it seems.
