Time and again the Liberals have violated workers' constitutional right to strike by abusing Section 107 of the Canada Labour Code, showing they're with corporations, not workers. Workers' rights are fundamental to democracy, not a minor inconvenience to be overridden without a second thought.

New Democrats are grateful to Don Davies for taking on the important role of interim leader. As we move forward, our work continues — fighting for public health care, affordable housing, good-paying jobs, and justice. Together, we will build a stronger, better, fairer Canada for everyone.

3 days. Voting NDP means capping grocery prices, stopping rent hikes, and defending public health care. That’s how we keep Canada, Canada.

We’re almost through, and total abdication on any healthcare talk tonight from everyone, but Jagmeet Singh. We’ll keep fighting in the trenches, but damn, it would be great to have national leadership.

Like many Canadians, I have been without a family doctor for years. Healthcare is fundamental to Canada's identity. We need leaders to keep defending it as fiercely as Jagmeet did tonight.

Jagmeet Singh is holding his own in the leaders debate. Without building truly affordable public housing, all Poilievre did was throw gas on the fire.

Just last year, the Liberals expanded a tax for the ultra-wealthy, admitting it was fundamental to a fairer society. Now, Mark Carney is reversing it — giving a tax break to millionaires. Where is the fairness in that?

He fought for you to get dental care and pharmacare. He fought for you in the debate. Now, he’s ready to keep fighting — to ensure New Democrats have a voice in a minority government, defending the things that make Canada, Canada. ➡️

You're paying your taxes. Big corporations aren't. Canada loses $39 billion a year when corporations dodge taxes. That's money that should be going towards fixing health care and building affordable homes.

Cracking down on corporate tax dodging will mean billions of dollars in revenue for building affordable homes, creating jobs, hiring doctors and nurses, and expanding pharmacists. Only New Democrats will build a tax system that works for people—not for billionaires. 👉

Canadians are proud to work and support each other. We won’t let Trump tariffs threaten what we worked so hard to build. Thank you to Bea Bruske for endorsing our plan to strengthen Canada’s safety net. Our work wouldn’t be possible without the support of the CLC and Canada’s labour movement.

It's never going to happen. Donald Trump is scheming with American health care CEOs to replace our public health care with U.S.-style for-profit care. They don't know what's coming to them.

Feeding your family shouldn't be this hard. Why should you have to clip coupons, make sacrifices, and go hungry, while a handful of grocery giants post record profits? Our government will cap the price of essential groceries and make Canada's grocery giants finally play fair.

Quoting this to share how much the NDP's dental care plan has helped! A visit for much-needed dental work cost $580, but only $82.60 was paid out of pocket.

Le Bloc et Blanchet viennent juste de voter avec les Conservateurs pour - Empêcher les aînés de recevoir un coup de pouce de 250$. - Enlever la TPS sur les couches et le chauffage. Incroyable à quel point le Bloc sert à rien!

The Conservatives just voted against permanently eliminating the GST off of essentials, This decision highlights their focus on tax cuts for the wealthy over meaningful relief for everyday families struggling with rising costs. It’s a missed opportunity to support those who need it most.
