Canadians are already worried about keeping their jobs, putting food on the table and paying rent. Carneys budget will only make this worse. We need changes based in fairness and taking care of each other.

This budget hurts people. 40,000 jobs cut. Services cut. Indigenous services gutted. Nothing for the environment. But American big-tech billionaires? They get tax breaks. We can still fix this. Mark Carney can still amend this budget and choose fairness.

Today I called for an emergency debate on Stellantis' plan to send 3000 Canadian jobs to the US. This betrayal—after billions in public support—will devastate families and communities. Our economy is under attack from the Trump administration. We must act immediately to protect Canadian workers.
