good thing i decided to print more zines in preparation for #sdzf well ahead of the event because i'm having to relearn all the little quirks of my printer since last time lol

something that upsets me about sharing art digitally is how you can’t reasonably show scale. like yeah you can put a penny for reference but it doesn’t have the same effect as seeing a piece in person at its actual size (not to mention how little control you have over screen size/resolution, etc)

i recommend tulip brand needles (my favorite size is #11) and nymo size d thread. pinch the thread between your thumb and index finger so that only the very end is exposed (~1mm). squeeze your fingers as you push the needle eye down over the thread #beadwork #beadsky
