Our country has been overthrowing "unfriendly" South American governments basically since its founding; this is, sadly, one more instance in a long line of crimes against our neighbors. US imperialism must be torn out and destroyed, right down to its very roots.

This attack on Venezuela/kidnapping of Maduro is insanely illegal, and offensive in every possible way. I am horrified that this was allowed to happen, and I DEMAND that the opposition in Congress steps up and does everything in its power to right this wrong and remove Donald Trump.

I was honored to attend yesterday's inauguration of Sean Ryan as the new Mayor of the City of Buffalo, while also watching from afar as Zohran Mamdani officially took his place as Mayor of NYC. Better things ARE possible in New York, and that all starts NOW.
