The Story of the Stone has really stuck with me after finishing up to chapter 80 (when the original author died). When I had started reading I wasn’t sure what to think about it. It had some parts I loved and then meandering sections describing food and clothes- 1/? #books #literature

I can proudly say I finished all four of the Chinese classic novels. I went from never reading since a child to finishing four huge collection of volumes in a single year. Story of the Stone and Romance of the Three Kingdoms were my favourites. I am proud of myself. #books #China #Chineseliterature
