Hugely sad. We've lost John Blanche. It's hard to know where to begin. He set fire to a generation's imagination, and those fires show no sign of stopping burning. His work very much illuminated the darkness.

Built an old school beehive, the fittings are a bit anachronistic, but waste not want not. Next part is to attract some bees!

Since I have stared drawing them myself I would like to pay homage to the memetic lineage that made jōmon ceramic swirls shorthand for the "mysterious ancient"

There's something satisfyingly anachronistic about risographs. I don't know any other situations where it's both about scouring old internet forums for archaic admin codes and having your hands covered in oily gunk at the same time!

Today I got a 24 year old Risograph working, prints from computer and everything. My sense of accomplishment is immense!

Pets and helmet doodles. Still not 100 on the grain, especially with how it interacts with color, maybe color shouldn't be grain.

Currently grossed out by how many Swedish state actors keep shitting out low effort AI garbage. Like on the level that a YouTuber would bring up as an example in a low effort rant vid. Public-service is not ment to outcompete artist, like that's very much the opposite of its mission. Very slimy.

Im trying to keep up with practicing drawing environments. There is still something off with the scale of things, but I feel like I'm getting somewhere.

Is a gold nib pen worth it? and if so which one to get? I tried one once and it felt really nice, but again so does most pens when you are not used to them.
